Northwoods Caftan

This is the view from my "studio". It's a very lovely place to work and play. Often work is play for me. Here I am starting to dye the pieces that will hopefully become my caftan for today. We've had lots of rain while we're here, but we are not complaining. This part of Wisconsin has been in a severe drought for ten years so bring on the rain!



Now I've printed the "caftan" and am hoping for the best. It started to rain in the middle of this, so I may have a 


new technique, rain printing.
