Why not be a perfectly natural red head?

Hi R
I have been dying to talk about hair, mainly about issues to do with dyeing it or not - and now you have provided me with the perfect timing.   I have cut out articles from magazines etc, have observed brave friends who have taken the au - naturale road (no no no! Not me! Silly girl!),  so feel I am quite expert at the subject; and I am totally with  you.  Why not be a perfectly natural red head?  I agree with Lynee - you look like a movie star!  More to come on this strand but in the meantime, I am wondering how it has changed your life.

Red, Set Go...
self portrait taken with my iPhone and photo shopped just a tiny bit
Have you ever just wanted a change? You know something to brighten your day, set your world on fire? Well that was me yesterday at the hair salon. Why not go red? After all I was born a red head.My father's nick name was Red. I have fair skin and freckles, perfect for red hair. So I pulled the plug (on the bottle)and unleashed the real me. Reddy, set, go. What do you think?

On romance and our need to be reminded that we are still Princes and Princesses

Clara at the wedding

Hi R
Thanks for my makeover for the wedding - you are very clever at Photoshop!

The romance expectation is raised -  guys and gals!  We all need it!   What about that song of the sixties - goes a bit  like this -  ..  She/but it could be he/ may get weary ....Women do get weary.....wearing the same shabby dress....da dada  dada... 'try a little tenderness.'

Well, most of this stuff is dated except  the 'try a little tenderness' which is vital.
We start our relationships with hope and love but sometimes living gets in the way.
Love and tenderness for William and Kate.

The Creative Process comes full circle

Low Light...May 7th

R wrote -   Cool and rainy, so today's photo was taken in the low light of our old barn. Fringe scarf bamboo yarns with "Low Light" necklace.

In answer to the question you asked yesterday ie Do we need appreciation of others reflected back to us before we can acknowledge our achievements?
Recognition and appreciation of what we create, makes all the work worthwhile. I enjoy selling my work, knowing that someone else likes what I do and others will see it. It definitely motivates me to make more and the more I make, the more creative I become. It goes full circle.
Clara - Lovely answer - perhaps describing the importance of our connections with others, as well as the creative process.

ps - what are the  bamboo yarns you used in this lovely scarf? Very flattering to older and younger women alike especially when matched with the neckpiece.

Grannycircle aims to make a difference to other women

Hi R
I'M BACK! MOB (Mother of the Bride) has returned to the hub of Blogsville.  The wedding can only be described as fabulous as are your amazing works since last week. Is it warm enough to wear the lovely lacy wraps?  Fringe Benefits is stunning!  I'm wondering what bamboo yarns are.  Lovely lacy wraps are excellent light and flattering cover up for Denim Divas.
Day 83 - incredible! Braiding looks very Spring Festival - young maidens dancing around the maypole - fertility - new life - Renaissance.  My favourite is 'Entwined' - perhaps because of the wedding.
I am honestly humbled by your creativity and I have to ask myself "What Wheel I achieve creatively?"  My answer has to be to pull the existing strands together to come 'full circle', and by doing so 'make a difference to other women'.  Our blog helps me to do that.

Look What the Cat Dragged In

"I love this bold choker of turquoise and stone. I plan to wear it with an oversized tee and a pair of skinny jeans. I like to think of it as a "fitness" neck piece, kind of like a weight belt that you wear when you're out for a jog, designer jewelry that helps you fit in your jeans.

Love, R
Clara - So you think that I am going to get passionate again about leafy greens - you understand that I could but won't as I am now in fashion mode - change of season does it to me every time. Easter heralds the change - out with the whites, (well - not the jeans or the shirts) and in with the jackets - Yeahhh!  So much more style and softer light (you guys over there don't have to put up with the same harsh scrutiny that us Gals Down Under have to endure.)

R - Your description showcases the absolute essence of Babyboomer dressing. Your fashion hints are welcomed. As are your technical hints - the not-so-tech leading the not-so-tech, but enjoying our ability to communicate. Also how Grannycircle Gals can http://www.fitwithmyjeans.com/ as well as http://fitinmyjeans.blogspot.com/

'Fit with my jeans'  - is your unique talent which I would love to be involved in down the track - Do you have a display in your store,  day by day?
Love Clara
