Since I'm not there to actually see these earrings in person, I decided it was time for a photo shopping trip. I declaire that the earrings are perfect for the MOB. You are still my glamorous role model. I need an overdo!

Love,

  1. Thanks R - you did a great job - they do make a statement - however I hope they are not quite so large. I am superimpressed with your photoshop job - Liz will be amazed - what tool did you use to separate the earring from the background. One thing we learnt - strangely enough we tried to photoshop you in order to do the collage but there wasn't enough contrast so we gave up. You need contrast - maybe another secret of successful retirement.

  2. Contrast is always good, the spice of life, opposites attract. Actually it's the simple act of making a good selection that leads to success.
In this case it's the selection tool in photoshop that makes the difference. However, when the contrast is not there, one has to resort to erasing unwanted parts. Simpler done in photoshop than in real life, but both take patience and time.

ps..glad you weren't mad about the glam gran photo. I just couldn't resist. Photoshop can be a dangerous tool.
