Dear Clara and other friends
It would be wonderful to truly go out for a walk together, but for the time being this will do. How different this is from 30 years ago when we were sending letters back and forth, up and down. And then, addresses got misplaced, moves were made and phone numbers changed along with names. All those years of life passed by so quickly. I was trying to explain that to my daughter yesterday as we celebrated her birthday and shopped for baby things. How quickly it goes and what a blur it is. How can you slow it down, keep it clear in your mind, savor every moment? That's one of my goals in my life today. I'm enjoying a perfect time right now, good health, a happy family, creative work and play and renewed friendships.
Perhaps our blog will become our record that keeps everything clear in our minds for the next 30 years.
